Micro-Soft 2000: the most popular and efficient water softener in our range.
The most popular of all of our softeners, built for strength and reliability based on over 60yrs continuous production.
This unit really is the backbone of all softeners sold in the UK based on the renowned Fleck control system that has been in continuous production and development over the past 60 years.
This ultra modern meter controlled unit employs the highest specification of materials and manufacturing techniques available. Using an electrically controlled meter system to ensure complete accuracy and reliability (not just relying on water pressure to operate it), this very modern piece of technology, designed to give many, many years of faithful service.
The power consumed would be equivalent to approximately any mains operated clock ( about 35-45 pence a year) and does not form any other part of the softening process, once a regeneration of the ion exchange resin has been initiated by the inbuilt meter of the Micro-Soft 2000 the cleansing, back washing and brining of your softener is then done by the water.
Water powered - Electrically controlled,

The Black control box is 20mm less on both sides, this can make an important difference if there is a sink trap in the way. We always recommend that (if possible) a hole corresponding to the "footprint" of the softener (470mm D x 245mm W) is cut out from the sink unit base to allow the softener to sit on the floor rather than on the base of the unit, thereby giving and extra 125 - 150mm extra headroom.

Micro-Soft MT2000
This is the ideal choice where space is at an absolute premium ,the specification is exactly the same as the MD400 softener, but it has been made with the control system and the ion exchange column separate from the salt (brine) tank, this makes housing of the unit extremely flexible. For example the water softener ( the chrome column) will fit snugly into a 300mm wide kitchen cupboard and the salt cabinet can be fitted remotely in another cupboard, say a corner unit in the kitchen, a utility room, under the stairs or even outside or in a garage. All that is needed is to connect the two parts of the softener with the 8mm diameter brine draw tubing.

Micro-Soft Two-Sixty
The Two-Sixty is strong and reliable and is particularly suitable where it needs to be free standing in a kitchen, utility area or a garage.
The controls are neatly hidden beneath a sturdy cover away from inquisitive children or other prying hands.
Being as robust as it is, it is less susceptible to damage.
Being the larger brother of the One-Sixty means more softening power for the larger household or commercial kitchen, it has a softening capacity of 600 gals.

Micro-Soft 3000
The MD600M-SE is designed for a household of up to six people on a permanent basis, but has the inbuilt ability to cater for larger households short term i.e. during holiday visits etc.
Its automatic metering system adjusts continually to compensate for the added amount of water being used.

The Water Boss
The ideal solution for the larger household, guest house or even a small hotel.
Especially useful of the larger family or where there is three or more bathrooms, where higher than normal flow rates are needed, i.e. a small hotel, guest house or where a modern plumbing system with a thermal store or unvented hot water tank is installed.
(this type of system needs extra flow rate capacity because they have no stored water reserve tank in the roof space to draw from, all water comes direct from the water main making heavy demands at peak times).
Every thing about the Water Boss is larger and stronger and has excellent build quality and once installed it will last a life time.
It will normally be fitted free standing and not within a standard kitchen unit. If your water mains enters the house in a garage, utility room or a cellar a Water Boss could be and excellent choice.
No special plumbing knowledge is needed to install a Water Boss and once fitted a simple press of a button allows the inbuilt microprocessor to make all necessary adjustment to start the softening process.

Pentek QC10
The Pentek Quick Change (QC) home filter system is an under sink compact unit with a Bayonet quick release filter cartridge. As with all drinking water cartridges they should be changed every six months, this is done very easily by the user by simply twisting the filter cartridge anti clockwise (similar to a light bulb) and pulling it down and away from the bracket mounted housing, there is no necessity to turn of the water supply as this is automatically disconnected as the cartridge and housing are separated.
